Hi, I'm Andy Ray. I'm the COO here at Petro Valve. I wanted to take a moment to talk to you about how we can best serve you on your request for quotes from us, how we can respond quickly and accurately with the information you need to make your valve buying decision. We need some information from you. You can actually help us get this done for you.
Some kind of basic information that our sales team needs to provide you with a quick and accurate quote are one, the type of valve that you need, such as gate, globe, or check. Two, the size. How big a valve is it? Is it a 2 inch valve, a 12 inch valve? It can range whatever it is. Pressure class is an important piece of information for us to know. End connections, how you're going to connect the valve to whatever system it's going into. And finally, the trim information, those wet parts inside the valve that operate the internal mechanisms. All those questions, once we have them answered, will enable us to provide you with a very accurate quote for the parts that you need.

Now, another thing I would like to address with you very briefly is where we might not be a good fit. We don't quote everyone, everything on earth because that doesn't serve you. There are certain types of bids and quotes that we're just not going to be a good fit for you. And we'd rather tell you that upfront. If you have a bid for an international project or food grade valves or AWWA valves or fire water valves, we're probably not the kind of distributor you need to work with on that.
We'd be more than happy to refer you to some folks that we know that can help you, but we're just not going to be a good fit. So I hope this quick overview gives you an idea of the kind of information we need with your cooperation so that we can provide you the valves you need in a timely and accurate way.
